Four years ago Ashleigh and I were taking a walk in Provo and we passed by a house into which I could see and in which I saw a picture of Jesus Christ. Together we hit on the idea of going to the homes of latter-day saints and telling them that we would like to convert them to Mormonism. We built up our door approach. When they responded that they already were Mormons we would act surprised and say, “Oh sorry. But if you are Mormons, why do you have pictures of Christ?”
This is why I love talking to my little sister. One of us will have a stupid idea and then we will keep adding details and making it more and more ridiculous. This is great fun and this is what you should learn to do to the end that I may more fully enjoy my time in your presence.
Did you do it? If I was there I would have gotten you to do it!
Feed the fire.
We didn’t do it. All talk.
I think the best part about Heather egging me on is that I know exactly what she is doing and I let myself be egged on anyway. Maybe that is actually the worst part.
nope, pretty sure that is one of the best parts. I think you guys should go out and do it. It would be awesome
I can just see Heather hiding behind a tree giggling and egging you on. See she really was the instigater of all things naughty growing up. Her persuasive skills are really grand and I would get suckered in every time where I would get in trouble. Heather would never get in trouble because she has her innoscent act down pat also.
I really enjoyed our loud, outlandish conversations as we walked around BYU campus.
We were pretty good at suddenly talking about bizarre things when people were walking by. I tried to do something similar with a friend here in Seattle but he kept giggling or being confused and asking what even though I had definitely explained to him what was going on.
In Mom’s slideshow there is a picture of Avynlea whispering to Rylee and I imagined Heather whispering to Elizabeth and then Elizabeth doing something and getting in trouble and Heather sitting on the sidelines with a smirk on her face. 🙂 I just made a runon sentence with a lot of ands. 🙂
